Sage Adjusta Grill Review
Here is my review of the Sage Adjusta Grill. It comes in stainless steel (much like other Sage appliances), has a power and ready light, and you can also adjust the heat setting - which is a feature a lot of other electric grills out there don't have.
Furthermore, you can manually adjust the height of the top grill which is good if you're adjusting it to cook things like thin steak or a toasted sandwich.
Sage Risotto Plus Review
Here is my latest product review for the Sage Risotto Plus slow cooker, which is essentially a slow cooker with a few extra features added in. For example, you can steam rice, cook risotto, sauté and of course, do slow cooking.
What is the low FODMAP diet
You may have heard of the low FODMAP diet if you've been diagnosed with IBS or another gut disorder from your doctor. It's important to get clear guidance and diagnosis from your doctor or a dietitian before embarking on this diet.
I realise for people wanting to follow a low FODMAP diet in order to relieve symptoms, it can be tricky to figure out what to cook and eat in order to keep your intake balanced and interesting.
FODMAP stands for:
Tefal Cuisine Companion Review
The Tefal Cuisine Companion is designed to replace an array of appliances in the kitchen. How does it do this? All the while being able to cook whilst using either manual settings or pre-programmed settings on the machine.
Sage Nutri Juicer Pro review
Juicing – it's very popular at the moment, and if you're looking to make it more a part of our lifestyle for the new year, be sure to check out my Sage Nutri Juicer Pro review.
You can expect quite a few parts when unpacking and putting together the Nutri juicer Pro. Luckily, a lot of the parts are dishwasher safe, which is a massive plus. The juicer is reasonably big so just be aware of this, especially if you have a small kitchen.
Iceland Ostrich fillet steak review
If you live in the UK, you may have heard Iceland supermarkets have started to sell speciality meats. Things like venison, buffalo, kangaroo and ostrich. Today I'll be reviewing Iceland's £1.30 ostrich fillet steaks – not a lot to pay in my opinion, so lets see what they're like…
The ostrich steaks come pre-packed and frozen and are therefore not from a fresh butchers counter. What I love about ostrich steaks is they're really lean and low in fat. These ones from Iceland come in at 0.7g of fat per 100g of which 0.3g are saturated – which is great!
Sage Tea Maker Review
Anyone who knows me knows I love tea. The British Science Association even revealed the science behind making the perfect brew. With that in mind I'm really excited to share my latest product review for the Sage Tea Maker. Can it make the perfect cuppa?
The Sage Tea Maker is a variable temperature kettle that's primarily designed for brewing loose tea. It has a stainless steel tea basket which lowers itself into the boiling water for the amount of time you specify.
Wirra Wirra Church Block 2012 Wine Review
As part of the Central England Co-Operative's "We like Wine" blog, today I'll be reviewing the 2012 Wirra Wirra Church Block red wine. This bottle is from McLaren Vale, Australia and is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (49%), Shiraz (35%) and Merlot (16%) – so there's plenty going on!
Les Pionniers Champagne Brut Review
Now, I must admit since getting engaged last year I have developed quiet the taste for fizz! What can I say, there always seems to be a reason to celebrate on the lead up to a wedding! With that said (and in case you haven't guessed yet) I'll be reviewing the Les Pionniers Champagne which is specially selected for the Co-op. This is in aid of the Central England Co-Operative's "We like Wine" blog.
