- Get a nice big baking potato, remove any knobbly bits and wash under the tap until clean.
- Dry the potato off, then use a folk to prick all around the potato a good few times.
- Place in the microwave and cook for 4 minutes (medium sized potato) or 6 minutes (large sized potato). No microwave? Just add 15-20 minutes onto the cooking time in the oven.
- Place the potato on some greaseproof paper on a baking tray then cook in the oven at 180c for 30-40 minutes, or until the skin is nice and crispy.
TIP! If you don't like the skin crispy, simply wrap the potato in foil before placing in the oven.
